Dive Drill 4/18/2010 at Black Pond
with Bungay, Muddy Brook and WVFA Personel.
We recovered a few floating docks for the WMCA camp. A great opportunity to
give back to them for their donation for the rehab tent.
It was also an excellent drill for divers and ground crews.

Practice makes perfect, here the divers return to shore
Auto Extrication

Bungay Crews practice vehicle extrication. Here they are removing a victim
from a car on it's side

Here, they have removed the roof while protecting the victim (under the
yellow blanket) and are now lifting the dashboard to free the legs.
Injured hunter drill on a very cold Sunday morning.
Five degrees with a ten below windchill didn't stop us. Here
the victim is being brought to shore
Line Crew, It was cold out there! Each rescuer has a safety
line and the rescue basket had a line. The line crew has standby safety
personel
Rescuers had to don our new Mustang immersion suits in
order to cross a swamp and a running stream in order to get to the "victim".
Here he is being packaged on a stokes litter to be brought to safety
Bungay fire crews practice fighting propane flames with WVFA and Muddy
Brook.
Bungay Crews start their approach under the watchfull eyes of
the safety officer
Teamwork- a few carefull steps later, the fire is
out
Lost in the woods drill. Another cold Sunday morning crews practiced setting
up search patterns.
Crews stayed warm in the new rehab shelter.
Special thanks to the Lake Bunggee Tax District for being a
major contributor towards the purchase of the
shelter. Linemaster Switch Corp, Camp Woodstock YMCA and the Jackman
family also contributed
Rescue crews laying out search patterns using
