Boooo, Fright Night

The Bungay Fire Brigade sponsored a terrorific halloween party for the kids on October 30th, Halloween Eve. We had a bootiful turnout with nearly 100 people coming to the station for a fun and frightful night. Candy, costumes, fire engines and kids having a safe place to show off their costumes made the evening a great sucess.

Open House at Bungay Fire

The Bungay Fire Brigade held an open house at the station on July 10th,2010. Visitors,friends and family were treated to tours of the appartus, good food and soft drinks, an automobile extrication demonstration and a dunk tank featuring our Chief Roy Candler and Deputy Chief Jim Houghton.

Dunk the Chief!!!

The kids, old and young tried to be the first to dunk the chief. We had a great turnout.

Damian Gilbert and Taylor Leigh Gilbert were the first to send Chief Roy to the foggy bottom.

Auto Extrication

Two teams raced to remove all four doors from these junk cars. The old farts vs. the kids and the kids won due to some hanky panky with the power units

Then, working together, we removed the entire roof of one car to show how we gain access to possible multiples victims

Here we demonsrtated a rapid half peel of the roof to gain quick access to victims in the front seat area.
