Dec 27,2011 Bungay crews responded to a house fire on Bradford Corner. With the help of Muddy Brook, Woodstock Volunteers Fire Association,

Eastord, Quinnabaug and Pomfret, crews were able to save the most of the home from the fire.

Most of the property damage was limited to extensive damage to the kitchen area. As always, we thank our mutual aid partners for thier help.

Car VS house 8/3/2011, Minor injuries, major damage to car and house

 

Car VS Tree 7/18/2011. Serious injuries. Driver lost control and struck a tree.
The cross is from a previous fatal motorcycle accident at the same tree.

June 11,2011 Our third major structure fire since last Christmas.
This time we were called to Bradford Corner at Center and with help from the other Woodstock departments,
Eastford, Pomfret, Putnam, and Quinebaug. We saved the home and large barn, stopping the fire at attached outbuildings.

Late night woodstove fire that extended into the home. Once again our mutual aid departments assisted in fighting
a stubborn fire in freezing temps.

Crooked Trail Ext. One day after a blizzard,strong winds and in below freezing temps Bungay Fire crews
and it's mutual aid departments fight a fire that included several fully involved vehicles.


 

 

We respond to more than the occasional fire. Over two thirds of our calls are not fire related but medical emergencies, auto accidents

tree and wires down, smoke alarms or basement pump outs.
